While I tutor students for many types of standardized tests, my specialty is preparation for the GRE exam. The GRE is required by many graduate programs; achieving a high score increases your chances for admission to your program of choice. I meet with my GRE students through Skype, using a shareable online whiteboard to work out problems together. If you are familiar with the Quantitative section of the GRE, you already know how challenging the questions can be; knowing the “how-to” can only get you so far. That is why learning specific strategies is so important. The Verbal section also has its own strategies.
